Regional Sales Manager, Capital Equipment

Western location - USA

PURPOSE:
· Plan, develop and deliver sales through customer and dealer facing routes to market
· Promote the company and continuously develop the capability of dealers
· Acquire, delight, and retain customers
· Total ownership & accountability for the region (sales & financial performance)
· Identify and execute regional marketing and branding opportunities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customer Relationships/Experience:
· Support and drive capital equipment sales growth
· Communicate product information and sales information to Customers, Dealers and Sales Channels
· Liaison with authorized dealers, building robust relationships
· Maintain positive and communicative relationships with key departments; sales team, marketing, finance, providing required documentation, on time and to agreed specifications
· Maintain excellent, high value relationships with internal and external customers
· Provide best practice customer service and support including investigating customer complaints; ensuring a timely resolution that is well communicated to dealers and customers (externally and internally)
· Assess and identify customer needs to achieve a high level of specialized customer service; looking for opportunities to add value to the ‘customer experience’
· Build and sustain enduring relationships of trust through open and interactive communication
· Go ‘the extra mile’ to engage and meet the needs of customers and the dealer network
· Personal management and drive to ensure efficient workflow to manage peaks and troughs
· Maintain excellent internal communications so relevant internal personnel are proactively communicated with to ensure timely and efficient support of all agreed deliverables, ensuring customer service and administrative requirements are met
· All relevant business records, inputs and updates are stored correctly, and meet agreed standards

Sales Strategy and execution:
· Develop and execute agreed sales and promotional plans to achieve regional targets and objectives
· Regularly review performance against plan and implement counter measures if required
· Manage own P&L
· Sell/support sales of capital equipment and promote service and project spares
· Manage offer and order activities and ensure the sales pipeline for the region is meeting agreed sales volume and gross margin expectations
· Provide expertise in specific WMS capital equipment and pricing to dealers and customers; promote consumables products, and associated services as ‘whole package’
· Deliver our products and services in full, on time and to specification
· Help coordinate technical resources in region to meet dealer & customer needs
· Build dealer capabilities through training to provide a high level of customer and product support
· Provide high level of customer support to dealers f2f and digitally regarding all capital equipment and related products
· Initiates and supports all agreed WMS sales campaigns
· Lead and follow through on all sales channel and dealer queries
· Develop subject matter expertise to support other team members
· Provide quotes and offers in line with the company’s margin policy
· Complete all related expenses documentation as per agreed protocols
· Communicate back orders with ETA dates to our dealers consistently and as per agreed protocols
· Strong attention to detail is applied to all written and verbal communication / quotes and interaction with dealers, suppliers etc; so professional image is maintained
