Daine Wilson brings decades of dairy farming and milking systems experience to the Waikato Milking Systems team in the U.S.

Daine Wilson’s roots in the dairy industry trace back to New Zealand’s Waikato region, the heart of the country’s dairy industry. In 1997, he moved to the U.S., where he bought into a 1,000-cow dairy operation. Running a farm at that scale gave him a clear understanding of what it takes to keep operations running efficiently and consistently.

After selling his share in the farm, Daine moved into the equipment and service side of the industry with an agricultural dairy equipment dealership. The work covered everything from servicing to planning and delivering system upgrades. He worked directly with farmers, handling a wide range of on-farm challenges. It gave him a clear view of how different operations are set up and run.

He later bought and ran a successful dealership himself, managing sales, service, and support. After selling that dealership to a dealer acquisition group, Daine moved into contract installation work across the U.S., from Michigan to South Dakota, working with a variety of systems.

Since joining the Waikato Milking Systems team, Daine has been working with farmers and dealers across the U.S., drawing on his experience to support their operations and keep systems running efficiently.
