Javier Gayo joins the Waikato Milking Systems team with over 15 years of experience in the dairy industry, specialising in milking performance, system upgrades, and sales.

Originally from Madrid, Spain, and now residing in Parma, Italy, Javier has held a variety of leadership and specialist roles, always driven by his passion for advancing dairy technology. He’s excited to expand his knowledge and collaborate with the key individuals who have played a crucial role in Waikato Milking Systems' growth, as he helps drive the company’s global development.

Coming from Milkrite | InterPuls, Javier brings a wealth of experience and a proven record in global sales and product management. He led a team of 30 and played a pivotal role in shaping sales strategies and optimising milking performance for dairy partners worldwide. Before moving into sales leadership, he worked as a business specialist focused on milking performance and as a product manager, specializing in pulsation and electronic vacuum systems.

In his new role, Javier will lead business development and market expansion across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). He’s eager to work closely with customers, dealers, and the UK and Ireland teams, ensuring they receive the dedicated support they need. Javier has a strong admiration for Waikato’s innovative products and design, and he’s looking forward to leading the company’s next phase of growth in these key regions.
