Joel Prince re-joined Waikato Milking Systems as Regional Sales & Service Manager for Western North America in October 2022 . Based in Jerome, Idaho, he supports valued dealers and customers in the western region.

Before originally joining WMS in 2018 Joel spent over 25 years at a dairy service dealership, holding management and sales positions across multiple western US locations, including Idaho, California, Arizona, Texas, New Mexico, Nevada, and Hawaii as well as western Canada. This provides ample opportunity for the company to engage with new farming regions in the US.

Joel also has hands-on experience working on dairy farms, from milking and feeding cows to raising calves, before transitioning into sales and management. He has witnessed the transformation of the Western dairy industry, from family-owned traditional milking systems to larger 24/7 commercial milking parlors. Recently, Joel has observed the redevelopment of large dairy farms adopting 100-plus stall rotary milking systems, incorporating labor-saving measures facilitated by milking automation and dairy herd management technology.

Joel is dedicated to advocating for the quality of our milking systems, with a particular interest in the Velocity Composite Rotary parlor, appealing to larger dairy operations. With extensive experience in the dairy sector and WMS products, Joel's friendly working style is always well-received.
